Installation |
Installation of Kaspersky Internet Security went smoothly. I started with the trial version and then entered the license key after the trial expired. This went smoothly and I was able to make a clean transition from trial version to the commercial version. |

Ongoing Usage |
Kaspersky's strength is it's ability to recognize and
destroy any virus the internet sends your way. Since many
viruses originate in Russia, they seem to be the most
qualified to deal with them since I have never had a virus
infection or lost any data using Kaspersky. I did run into a bug today though. When I started my laptop, the MS Security center told me that my virus protection was disabled. Upon opening Kaspersky, I saw a message telling me that there were too many users with my license key, even though I was the only one and the key is valid. It went away though, and Kaspersky resumed function until it started to crash. It was easy to fix because there was a Technical Support link built right into the program that took me straight to the relevant FAQ for my problem. I followed the well documented and easy to follow fix, and was back in business within 5 minutes. |

Kaspersky's file anti-virus protection is like having your own food taster. It is a last line of defense that protects your computer even if a virus has managed to infect your computer.
